SERVICE & RENEWAL OF YOUR GLASSES
Nobody likes rules. The same concerns the rules of the exploitation of glasses. Our workshop offers you guarantee and postguarantee maintenance with great pleasure. If you constantly take off your glasses with one hand and they have got out of shape, we will make them even in your presence. If you use your glasses as a band and they have strained, we will renew them easily and quickly. If your glasses slip down or squeeze, we will correct their geometry and reconstruct the comfort of using. The glasses should be comfortable for you, not you for them. But if any of your habits (e.g. leaving glasses on a sofa) can lead to damage, we will draw your attention to it. But in case of any damage to your glasses our workshop will repair them in the shortest possible time treating your eyes and your image with respect.
Warranty period for new glasses and fitting lenses is codified. It is 6 months. This is more than necessary, as any spoilage of lenses, frame and fitting is disposed during the first days of exploitation, but there is no warranty period for mechanical damage.
Guarantee and postguarantee maintenance.
We will just repair them. It’s our job. Flexible schedule of our workshop allows you to choose the most suitable time for emergency maintenance.
It’s so nice that it isn’t broken. We will correct it. We’ll replace the strained line, replace the plug harden because of ultraviolet, replace the male screw, cut a new thread, correct the frame that was misshaped by a tight spectacle-case or curved by overheat. There is no need to fix screws with glue. There’s no need to turn an easy-to-solve matter into a complicated problem.
We will check the coincidence with the prescription, the fitting and the quality of performed work. We will define if you need to get accustomed to these glasses or you have to consult a doctor again.

OPTICIAN’S ADVICE
A tight spectacle-case is the most common cause of breaking glasses and getting them out of shape. If your glasses DON’T shake in the spectacle-case, the case touches the temples and changes the geometry of the frame. Mechanical damage is not a warranty event. Pay attention to your cleaning cloth. If put in the spectacle-case, it often causes pressure of the case on the glasses.
Even its smell damages the frame and lenses. If you are on a trip and haven’t taken extra glasses and the only glasses got damaged, use cellotape, sticking plaster, a thread, epoxide resin, but not superglue.
The most complicated procedure is polishing and reconstruction of the front piece’s layout. Glasses are mostly damaged by cosmetic products and abrasives: hair-dye, mascara, tanning cream, cologne, scent, tinting cream, aftershave lotion, dried up sea water, cement kiln and sand dust, desinfectants. There are deleterious chemical substances in small amounts in numerous agents. Glasses can’t be damaged at once. It takes time. Even lacquer and paint can be removed in 24 hour’s time easily. That is why you should regularly wash your glasses with soap scum and water, and wash the cleaning cloth. Clean glasses keep their perfect layout for years.
Renewal & restoration
Many-stage polishing of an expensive machine-cut frame shines absolutely different from varnishing. Complex multicomponent color tones created by designer groups look completely in another way compared with rectilinear one-color pigment. But while in use glasses are affected by various external factors and their original shine is becoming gradually lost. Because of the temperature differential and the influence of ultraviolet transparent items grow yellow and colors fade. A net of tiny scratches appears on the lenses and frame. Various cosmetic products eat in plastic parts and create blurred splotches or white stripes. No one wants to wear out-of-shape or sliding down glasses even if they look perfect.
We renew the layout of glasses: replace nosepads, pads, ear pieces’ caps, lines; polish external frame and remove small scratches, clean hard-to-reach parts, glue in fallen out strasses, reconstruct geometry, replace damaged lenses for new ones.

The placement of glasses on a person’s face is very important. Children’s face anatomy needs individual fitting of a frame. A wrong placement can lead to the change of prescription and therefore not fulfilling doctor’s recommendations. Our workshop has very flexible schedule. Order and you will get service and advice at any suitable time.
Restoration is necessary if you are the proud owner of a rare brand or a museum piece. We preserve original parts in the most possible way, use traditional technologies, make repair parts by hand. We can imitate old brands for movie-shooting. We have necessary experience and outfit.
Everything has its working lifespan, but we can essentially prolong your favourite frame’s lifespan, preserve and maintain the created by you image.
